10th Anniversary Grantchester Charity Ruins, September 29th, 2019

The Volunteer-run 2019 Grantchester Charity Runs will again be supporting Maggie’s Centre Cambridge and ACT, the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust The 10k and 3k both run through attractive farmland adjacent to Grantchester, just outside Cambridge. Importantly, there are no awkward road crossings in fact there are no road crossings at all! The courses are mixed terrain and predominantly flat. Chip Timing for all 10k participants. Parking – Available at the Grantchester Village Charity Car Park located just outside the village on the road to Trumpington. The Car Park is a short walk from the Runs Start. Our good friends at the Lunchtime Company are again sponsoring the Grantchester Charity Runs T-Shirts with proceeds going to Maggie’s and ACT. T-shirts may be purchased for £6 (tbc) through the registration process. Logistics, medals and trophies are again sponsored by HotelResUK and Great Events, Cambridge Sports Corrective Therapy (tbc) will be back to provide pre- and post- race sports massage and injury consultation. Every runner who completes the course will receive a commemorative medal and there will be trophies for the winners of both runs. Special family offer: Registration for the 3k for an accompanied under 12 is only £5 (Adult must register separately) Registration fees remain lower than 2017 We are now on Twitter: @GCRuns (and we are working on Facebook….)

The Runs and Parking are located on the Trumpington side of Grantchester (see map in sidebar). After you pass the Orchard Tea Garden, watch out for the flags (thanks to sponsor Great Events) and signs on your right when heading from Grantchester to Trumpington
