Grantchester Charity Run 2012

We’re delighted to announce that registration for the Grantchester Fun Run 2012 is now open in preparation for the big day on Sunday 21st October at 10.30 am. Building on the tremendous success of last year, this time we’re offering a run over two distances to broaden the appeal and give as many as possible the chance to participate. Firstly there’s the 10K run, also a 3K run for those who prefer to take things a little more sedately. Click on the links for more details of the respective routes.

This year we have partnered with the Big Push for the Rosie Hospital campaign to ensure we raise as much money as possible for this good cause – find out more at the rosie campaign website.

Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt before the race and a bacon buttie after the race at the Blue Ball Inn where refreshments will also be available.

Results will be published shortly. As it was a Fun Run we do not, on this occasion intend to publish every runner’s result but only the first 30 or so. If any individual would like to know their time and place they contact me by leaving a post on this website.

    Steve,
I want to thank you for the organization of the fun run. Everything went smooth, and I really enjoyed the route! It was fun!
I don’t think I was in the first 30, so I would like to know my time and place whenever they are available. By the way, how many people took part in the run? I think it was quite successful.

    Thanks again,

    Alex.
